ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
1991-1993-Lecturer in Architecture, Furniture and Product Design Graduate School Architecture and
Planning University of Colorado, Denver. Taught furniture and product design, developed the existing
model shop into a state-of-the-art facility, administered the model and furniture studio, supervised staff
and students involved with studio, and liaisoned with the Denver design community to effect a quality design
program for students.
1992-1993-Program Director, Aspen Design Studio-Conceived, created, and directed the Aspen Design Studio for
the University of Colorado, an architecture design studio taught in conjunction with attendance at the International
Design Conference in Aspen (IDCA). Coordinated with the IDCA and Aspen community to produce a unique educational
experience for students, produced media coverage, and recruited local architects for final critique.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1993 to Present-Freelance Professional Designer - San Diego. Run and operate small business including marketing,
meeting with clients, design professionals, subcontractors and vendors to effect the completion of a particular job.
1990 Master Carpenter-Snowmass-Aspen Repertory Theater-Snowmass Village, CO.
Worked with the scenic designer and technical director, coordinated and constructed scenery
and props for four professional theatrical productions.
1989-Assistant to the Director-Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Snowmass Village, CO.
Assisted the director coordinating student housing; facilities maintenance and management; student and community relations;
media presentations and community outreach; and annual fund raising event (annual art auction).
1988-Gallery Director and Assistant to the Director, Anderson Ranch Arts Center,
Snowmass Village, CO. Same as above plus curated six art gallery shows in a twelve week period.
